I really want to love these, and I have 6 pairs of Aspire Trunks, and 1 new Recover Trunk, so I clearly like them enough to purchase more than one pair. (I keep on trying!) But here’s why I can’t get to “I Love You”. These Trunks ALWAYS roll up at the cuff! It looks terrible! I have purchased my size, based on the size information on the site, size M. The leg cuffs roll up on the front of the thigh and derriere. I bought a size down, size small, leg cuffs roll up on the front of the thigh with these too. I purchased the new Recover Trunk. These have no cuff on the leg opening, so I was skeptical when I looked at them and put them on. Sure enough, with no cuff at all, they easily rolled up too. Now, let me add, I’m a healthy athlete with good leg muscles, but my quads aren’t some hulking massive things that could possibly make them stretch and roll up, so I really don’t understand the fit of these trunks and why they always roll and bunch up. It is not flattering at all. I don’t understand how I’m the only guy who has this experience with the fit and has expressed the issue and disappointment with what is generally a really great Trunk. I don’t know how others are getting them to not roll up and have the leg cuff stay in place. Beauty pageant tape?

On the leg roll-up: Recover is designed with a minimal, laser-cut opening to reduce bulk, but we know thigh shape and muscle can change how it behaves. Since you’ve tried both M and S, you may find more stability in a slightly longer inseam like the Aspire Long Boxer Brief, or even the Recover Boxer Brief, which gives the leg more surface area to anchor. We also really appreciate your note about a more anatomical front leg cut — that kind of insight helps us refine future designs. Thank you again for continuing to give us a shot.
