In this case, a size adjustment can help, as a slightly larger size often reduces tension at the leg opening and keeps things in place better. A quick adjustment when putting them on—making sure the waistband is laid flat all the way around—usually helps. If it’s still happening, sizing up can reduce that tendency while keeping the same relaxed feel Recover is built for. As for washing, the waistband is designed to recover its shape after each cold wash, so you should see it hold up well with proper care.
