I prefer long boxer briefs for gym underwear and with this purchase, I have now been able to compare this style's versions in the Aspire and Dominate lines. I like the latter better. The fit feels a bit more snug around the thighs, though I think this is more because of the just slightly heavier fabric rather than tighter measurements. The waistband, which I find is a weakness in the Aspire line when used as gym underwear, is wider and stays put better. It's primarily because of these two differences that, although both lines have a second-skin feel, the Dominate long boxer brief has a wraparound fit that's more appropriate for activewear.
I also very much like the blood colour. It's quite accurately depicted in the website's product photos, bold without being loud.

You've really nailed what makes Dominate special for activewear - that slightly more substantial fabric weight and wider waistband do create that secure, wraparound fit that stays locked in during workouts. Fit is great. the larger waist band is good. Working labor intensive jobs the long briefs perform much better than the short ones. Long briefs stay put and don't ride up or down.

I got the medium and it was comfortable, but a bit more shifting around than preferred, so I recommend sizing down if you have normal to skinnier legs like me.
