That lighter hold can sometimes feel like a lack of support, especially if you’re used to something more structured or if you carry a bit more weight through the midsection. The rolling you’re experiencing can also come from that same relaxed waistband paired with the longer cut. You might find better results by sizing down slightly for more hold, or switching to something like Aspire or Dominate if you want that more anchored, supportive feel while still keeping the comfort. Recover really shines in slower moments, lounging or sleep, so dialing in the right style for how you plan to wear it can make a big difference.

For some builds, especially around that 33–35 range, it can land a bit more snug out of the box and create that folding effect you’re describing. A couple things that may help: If you’re between sizes, sizing up in Recover usually gives a more natural lay on the waist (since the fabric still forms back to you). After a few wears + washes, the waistband tends to relax and settle into your shape more. That said, your note on the waistband is super valuable — we’re actively refining that balance between hold and zero-pressure feel, and this is exactly the kind of input that pushes that forward. If you’re open to it, our Aspire line (with Tru-Fit Technology) offers a bit more structure through the waistband while still keeping that second-skin feel — could be a better match for what you’re looking for.
